Composite Pellet Slag Agent for Converter

In the process of converter steelmaking, it is very important to make slag well because of the further steps of dephosphorization and desulfurization.
We did research and developed the composite slag pellets due to the following reasons:
1.The slagging effect of ordinary fluoride-free slag agent is slow.
2.The fluidity of ordinary fluoride-free slag agent is poor.
3.The slagging time of ordinary fluoride-free slag agent is long.

Product Features

The time of slagging is faster than that of ordinary slagging agent.

In the early stage of converter steelmaking process, it increases the FeO content of slag.

The melting rate of lime is increased and the consumption of lime is reduced.

The alkalinity of slag is increased to improve the effect of deoxidation and desulfurization in smelting process.

It reduces the consumption of fluorite. Due to the increase of alkalinity of slag in initial period, the solubility of MgO in slag reduces, thus reducing the erosion of furnace lining and improving the life of furnace lining.
